INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFY
1. The Engineer-in-Chief P.W.D. Raipur, on behalf of the Governor of the Chhattisgarh invites prequalification applications from A-5 class contractors of PWD Chhattisgarh, equivalent contractors of Central/ other State Govt. & their under taking, firms of repute for the following work :-

| | 2. The Contractors who fulfill the following minimum requirements shall be eligible to apply. Joint ventures shall not be accepted.
Each Tenderers in its name should have in the last five years :-
a) (i) Satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to 50%(fifty percent) of the probable amount of contract as on the last date of submission of P.Q. Document.
OR
(ii) Satisfactorily completed at least two similar works total costing equal to value 60% (sixty percent) of the probable amount of contract for which the tender is invited as on the last date of submission of P.Q. Document.
OR
(iii) Satisfactorily executing at least one similar work having received payment of value not less than 60 %( Sixty percent) OR two similar works having received aggregate payment of value not less than 75 %( Seventy Five Percent) of the value of probable amount of contract as on the last date of submission of P.Q. Document.
OR
(iv)One similar work completed & satisfactorily executing one similar work Total aggregate value of both the works shall be minimum 75 %( Seventy Five Percent) of the value of probable amount of contract for which tender is invited as on the last date of submission of P.Q. Document.
Note :- (i) The turn over shall be indexed at the compounded rate of 10% (ten percent) for each earlier years.
(ii) The value of completed work shall be updated to the value of current financial year @ compounded rate of 10%(ten percent) per year from completion year of work.
(iii) Similar work means Road Work on National Highway or State Highway or Major District Roads..
(iv) The cost of work shall mean gross value of the completed work. This should be certified by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent.
b) Should have Bank solvency of not less than 15% of P.A.C. (Not older than 12 months)
c) Should have annual financial turn over of not less than 75% of PAC on civil construction work in any financial year during the last five year's ending on 31.03.10 The turn over will be indexed at the compounded rate of ten percent (10%) for each earlier years.
d) Should not have incurred any loss in last two years as per Audit Report of Chartered Accountant during the last five years ending on 31st March, 2010.

| | 4 Application for pre-qualification supported by prescribed annexure shall be submitted in sealed envelope duly super scribed with the name of work and due date of opening along with a Bank draft of Rs. 10000/- (Non Refundable) in favor of Executive Engineer PWD Kondagaon Division Kondagaon , (C.G.) as processing fee in a separate envelope. The applications will be received as per key dates mentioned in tender notice by registered A/D or Speed Post in the Office of Engineer-in- Chief, P.W.D. Sirpur Bhawan Raipur Chhattisgarh and same will be opened by the Engineer-in-Chief, P.W.D. Raipur Chhattisgarh in his office as per key dates mentioned in tender notice in the presence of applicants/representatives, whosoever intends to present.
5 The department reserves the right to verify the particulars furnished by the applicant independently. The department also reserves the right to physically verify the performance of works. If any information furnished by the applicant is found incorrect at a later stage, he shall be liable to be debarred from tendering/taking up any works in Chhattisgarh P.W.D.
6. In case the tenderer(s) is/are not registered in appropriate class of contractors in Chhattisgarh Public Works Department he/they may also download tender form after completing registration on web site http://cgeprocurement.gov.in / through departments Sub Portal: http://pwd.cgeprocurement. gov.in. In case the competent authority accepts the tender of such tenderer, he will be required to get registered himself in appropriate class of contractors in chhattisgarh Public Works Department with in 15 (Fifteen) days from the date of issue of acceptance letter. If such tenderer fails to get him self registered in specified time his earnest money shall be forfeited. No claims on this regard shall be entertained and decision of Engineer-In-Chief shall be final.
7. The department also reserves the right to reject any application without assigning any reason.
